Monthly supporter beta access

€5 is billed each month through Stripe until canceled. Your support funds MacTools development and provides access to the current beta service on one Mac while your paid period remains valid. Cancel through your account before renewal; access continues until the end of the already-paid period.

Beta expectations

MacTools is experimental. Steam updates may break compatibility, and there is no guarantee every game or DLC works. Check the listed macOS, CPU and Steam requirements before subscribing. Game purchases, game content, DLC purchases, CrossOver and notProton are not included.

Activation

One key is linked to one Mac. Contact support to transfer it when replacing your computer. Access is checked online periodically; signed offline access lasts up to 24 hours and never beyond the paid period. Revocations and transfers take effect immediately on the next online validation; an existing offline lease can last until it expires.

Use and upstream licenses

Use the tool only with content you are entitled to use. This is an independent project inspired by lua.tools and SteamTools, using macSteam. It is not affiliated with Valve or upstream maintainers. Source distributions and upstream notices retain their applicable open-source licenses, including AGPL-3.0; this supporter service does not remove those rights.

Problems and refunds

If the beta does not work with your setup, contact support to discuss the issue or request a refund. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected. Refund requests are assessed individually; no automatic refund promise is made here.
